Refocus Medical Consulting LLC was founded by Camelia Martin, DNP, FNP-BC, an experienced geriatric healthcare provider who has dedicated her career to improving patient outcomes. Throughout her practice, Camelia noticed a troubling trend: many patients were at risk for polypharmacy, often receiving multiple medications from different providers without proper reconciliation. This led to dangerous medication interactions and duplicate treatments. Additionally, she observed that many patients had been misdiagnosed or given inadequate treatment plans due to insufficient workups and assessments.

Motivated by a desire to provide safer and more effective healthcare, Camelia established Refocus Medical Consulting. Our mission is to evaluate and reduce the risks of polypharmacy, and to offer second opinions on diagnoses and treatment plans at patients' requests. We also provide concierge mobile and telemedicine urgent care services, bringing high-quality, personalized medical care directly to our patients.
